Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to ensure order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating products using a forklift.

Pay

$17.90/hour

Schedule

1st Shift 5:30am - 2pm

Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift
• Work in a cold environment
• Maintain physical fitness and strength

• Follow safety procedures and protocols in a cold storage environment
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Attention to detail

• Unload trucks and check incoming shipments for accuracy
• Inspect goods for damage or spoilage, ensuring quality standards
• Verify temperature conditions during transit
• Store goods in temperature-controlled areas, organizing and stacking properly
• Monitor storage temperatures regularly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Allergen Training
• HACCP and GMP training as required
• At least 1 year experience operating ride-on pallet jacks & forklifts
• Experience with scan gun systems
• Ability to read and understand internal communication
• Ability to work full days in cold temperatures
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read labels and documents

• Guided Training (up to 40 hours)
• Forklift Operation and Certification
• Functional Process Training
• Battery and Propane Safety Training and Certification
• Current CJ Safety & Compliance Training
