Job summary

AAP is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our Hanover Park warehouse team. You will safely move, load, unload, and store products, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations.

Expect duties across loading, picking, staging, cycle counts, and coordinating with receiving/shipping. AAP emphasizes safety, GMP adherence, and a structured, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and inventory management skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying product quantities and condition.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse activities as needed.
• Support receiving, shipping, and production departments to ensure operational efficiency.
