Graber Manufacturing, Inc. in Waunakee, WI, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our fabrication team. You will operate Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw, reading blueprints and work orders to fabricate metal components with precision and care.

Ideal candidates are proficient with measuring tools, can identify materials, and are willing to learn Unipunch and related equipment. Safety, teamwork, and quality are foundational to our production process.

Formación

• Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiar with measuring tools and fractions/decimals.
• Identify materials used in metal fabrication.
• Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws.
• Basic knowledge of Unipunch System.
• General knowledge of break press and iron-worker equipment.
• Graber will train to suit needs.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw per procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders to fabricate parts.
• Set up machinery, select tooling, and adjust for precise cuts, punches and bends.
• Monitor fabrication process and identify defects, adjusting to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with welders, assemblers, and supervisors to ensure workflow and timely completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will contribute to the production of superior metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of metal parts.
• Set up machinery, select appropriate tooling, and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise cuts, punches, and bends.
• Monitor the fabrication process to identify any issues or defects, and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with team members, including welders, assemblers, and supervisors, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read / interpret blueprints
• Familiar with measuring tools using fractions and decimals
• Be able to identify different types of materials
• Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws
• Must have basic knowledge of Unipunch System
• General knowledge of break press operation
• General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment
• The above skills are not all required. Graber Mfg. is willing to train to suit our needs

The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment. Physical requirements:

• The ability to move freely with sufficient reflexes to use hands and power tools to complete the tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform the same task repeatedly.
