Graber Manufacturing, Inc. in Waunakee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the fabrication team. You will operate Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw, reading blueprints and adjusting tooling to produce precise metal components.

You will work with welders, assemblers, and supervisors to maintain quality and efficient workflow while adhering to PPE and safety policies. Training is provided.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders to fabricate metal parts.
• Ability to measure using fractions and decimals accurately.
• Ability to identify different materials used in fabrication.
• Basic familiarity with Marvel automatic saws.
• Basic knowledge of Unipunch System.
• General knowledge of break press operation.
• General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw per procedures and safety rules.
• Read drawings/blueprints and ensure accurate fabrication.
• Set up machines, select tooling, and adjust for precise cuts and bends.
• Monitor process and address defects to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with welders/assemblers/supervisors for efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will contribute to the production of superior metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of metal parts.
• Set up machinery, select appropriate tooling, and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise cuts, punches, and bends.
• Monitor the fabrication process to identify any issues or defects, and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with team members, including welders, assemblers, and supervisors, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read / interpret blueprints
• Familiar with measuring tools using fractions and decimals
• Be able to identify different types of materials
• Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws
• Must have basic knowledge of Unipunch System
• General knowledge of break press operation
• General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment
• The above skills are not all required. Graber Mfg. is willing to train to suit our needs

The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment.
