Job summary

Graber Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our Waunakee fabrication team. You will operate Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw, reading drawings and ensuring precise fabrication of metal components.

The role requires basic tooling knowledge, attention to detail, and safety adherence. Physical work involves lifting up to 30 lbs in a noisy manufacturing environment, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Accurately measure with fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw per procedures.

• Monitor process and maintain quality; cooperate with team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will contribute to the production of superior metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of metal parts.
• Set up machinery, select appropriate tooling, and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise cuts, punches, and bends.
• Monitor the fabrication process to identify any issues or defects, and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with team members, including welders, assemblers, and supervisors, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read / interpret blueprints
• Familiar with measuring tools using fractions and decimals
• Be detail oriented
• Be able to identify different types of materials
• Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws
• Must have basic knowledge of Unipunch System
• General knowledge of break press operation
• General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment
• The above skills are not all required. Graber Mfg. is willing to train to suit our needs

Work Environment:
The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment. • The ability to move freely with sufficient reflexes to use hands and power tools to complete the tasks efficiently.
