Job summary
HRU-Tech is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for a tool and die and metal stamping facility. You will maintain facility systems, large stamping presses, CNC machines, and related equipment to support production uptime.
The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics, and hands-on troubleshooting. Experience with stamping presses and CNC machines is strongly preferred; electrical knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with stamping presses and CNC machines strongly preferred.
- Electrical experience a plus.
- Background in tool and die or metal stamping is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on large stamping presses.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and documentation of work completed.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Perform minor building, shop, and facility maintenance as needed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Document maintenance work and report equipment status accurately.
