Job description

No previous fabrication experience is required. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, are willing to learn, and want to develop a skilled-trade career, we’ll provide the training and experience to help you build those skills.

As you develop your skills and demonstrate proficiency, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your capabilities through cross-training throughout the fabrication department.

  • Perform in-process and finished-part inspections to ensure work meets established quality standards and specifications.
  • Safely handle, stage, and move materials and components throughout the fabrication process.
  • Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Participate in cross-training within the Fabrication and Mechanical Components departments to develop knowledge and proficiency in multiple processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, trainers, and supervisors regarding production, quality, safety, and equipment concerns.
  • Demonstrate continued progress in learning fabrication processes and operating equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
