Job summary

Revlon Manufacturing & Distribution in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Domestic Shipping Warehouse Operator - 1st Shift. This onsite role requires safe operation of equipment including reach trucks and order pickers, accurate offloading from sort lanes, and precise pallet storage and retrieval at the Roanoke distribution center.

Responsibilities include moving between off-loading, put-away, and loading areas, cross-training for flexibility across multiple areas, and upholding 5S and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic math and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to consistently meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication with supervisors and co-workers.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach with hands/arms and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 6 months or more experience in a fast-paced warehouse is a plus.
• Receive training in 40CFR 262.17 as applicable in the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as the Raymond Reach Truck, Raymond Pacer Truck, Order Picker and/or Sit-Down Lift.
• Carton to pallet scanning to offload cartons and ensure accuracy of offloaded cartons.
• Locate palletized freight from sort lanes and store them correctly.
• Retrieve pallets and load onto outbound trailers; oversee containers based on weight and customer requirements.
• Adhere to 5S programs and uphold safety responsibilities.
