Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking an Assembly Technician to complete DT12 transmission builds using the established remanufacturing process. You will assemble all components onto the transmission to a dyno-ready state, following work instructions and OE specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read and follow Work Station Instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Contribute to safety, quality and productivity improvements.
• Cross-train on other jobs as required.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble DT12 transmission components per work instructions.
• Operate torque wrenches, air tools, presses, gauges, hoist, and hand tools.
• Identify parts and reject components not meeting standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and meet attendance targets.
• Diagnose issues during build and participate in rotation plan.
