Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with CNC equipment is required.
• Nesting or programming experience is required.
• Associates degree in design/drafting is preferred.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and manufacturing processes is important.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized manufacturing technologies to create part patterns and related programs for automated fabrication equipment.
• Ensure production schedules are met.
• Provide technical assistance and problem solving to operations or engineering support teams.
• Work with operators on fabrication issues.
• Suggest improvements related to day-to-day operations, tooling and equipment.
• Update part information in JD Edwards or other similar systems.
