Job summary

Emery Air, located at Chicago Rockford International Airport, seeks energetic Ground Support personnel to operate Fri-Mon, 6am-4:30pm. You will de-ice aircraft, marshal arrivals/departures, greet crews, move aircraft and handle basic fuel/oil/water services while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements include 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a drug screen and background checks, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• De-ice and anti-ice aircraft.
• Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures.
• Greeting pilots, passengers and crew.
• Moving aircraft.
• Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment.
• Transporting clients.
• Assisting with baggage.
• Ensuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintaining facilities and equipment.
• Providing all around top-quality service.
• Fuel quality control functions.

Salary Range: $18.50 To $19.00 Annually

Summary:

Emery Air, LL. Aviation Ground Support Services Division is seeking several high energy, self-motivated individuals to add to our team of aviation ground support professionals to work Friday - Monday 6am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• De-ice and Anti-ice aircraft
• Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures
• Greeting pilots, passengers and crew
• Moving aircraft
• Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment
• Transporting clients

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be willing to work any shift in a 7 day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
• A valid clear driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
