Job summary

Emery Air, LLC is seeking several high-energy, self-motivated individuals to join our 3rd shift aviation ground support team at Rockford, IL to work 10pm-6:30am or 7pm-3:30am, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.

Duties include fueling, de-ice, marshaling, greeting crew, driving on ramp, moving aircraft, handling baggage, maintaining hangars and ensuring safety. Minimums include 18+, HS diploma, drug screen, and background check; valid US work status and driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willing to work any shift in a 7 day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check to obtain credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential.
• A valid clear driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
• De-ice and Anti-ice aircraft during cold weather months.
• Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures.
• Greeting pilots, passengers and crew.
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment.
• Moving aircraft.
• Transporting clients.
• Assisting with baggage.
• Ensuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintaining facilities and equipment.
• Providing all around top-quality service.
• Fuel quality control functions.
