Based in High Point, NC, this is a full-time, first-shift role with hourly pay ranging from $30 to $35.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-based automated equipment.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distribution.
  • Experience with HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation controls.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and automation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-based machinery, HMIs, sensors, drives, and motor controls.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Install, modify, and improve electrical control systems and automation equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints.
  • Document repairs and maintenance activities.

Electronics & Automation Technician DIrect Hire


Hourly Pay: $30-$35


Hours 6am - 2:30pm (when needed / Saturday 6am-10am)

What You'll Do

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping automated production equipment operating safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities include:


  • Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and automation equipment.

  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs, sensors, drives, and motor controls.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Install, modify, and improve electrical control systems and automation equipment.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints.

  • Troubleshoot VFDs, relays, contactors, motors, control panels, and electrical components.

  • Assist with equipment startups, system upgrades, and process improvements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend long-term corrective actions.

  • Document repairs and maintenance activities.

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.

  • Follow all electrical safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).


What We're Looking For


  • 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-based automated equipment.

  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distribution.

  • Experience with HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation controls.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

  • Technical degree or industrial electrical certification is preferred but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
