Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc in Wisconsin is seeking an Assembler I to perform assembly of products according to specifications, validate materials, review work instructions and maintain quality, safety, and PPE standards.

You will operate assembly equipment, cross-train in multiple areas, support continuous learning, and participate in team meetings to share information and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• ASSEM BLY I: Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• ASSEMBLY II: High school diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year of complex assembly or related experience Internal: Demonstrated Assembler II competency.
• ASSEMBLY III: High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of complex assembly or related experience Internal: Demonstrated Assembler III competency & High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Uses work instruction drawings, schematics, and assembly equipment to perform assembly while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Cross trains in multiple assembly areas and flex to other departments as needed.
• Develops understanding of products and their impact on the business.
• Continual learning of processes as job requirements evolve.
• Participates in team meetings to share information and improve processes.
• Resolves problems with assistance from peers or supervisors as needed.
• Provides basic training on work instructions as required.
