Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure required parts, prepare the work area, and use hand tools to complete assemblies while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires following prescribed instructions, stacking products, and keeping accurate production records. Candidates should be at least 18 and have basic math skills, with prior manufacturing/assembly experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
  • 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components according to prescribed instructions, and in line with quality standards.
  • Secure and maintain correct component parts and supplies required for operation.
  • Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Stack completed products and, if required, cover, label and band finished components.
  • Keep work area safe, clean and organized and ensure equipment is safe to operate.
  • Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report issues.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Maintain production records as required and follow safety procedures.
