Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an assembler for our West Chester, PA site. You will perform a variety of tasks on the assembly line, ensuring parts fit correctly and meet quality standards. The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring devices, and operating power tools in a fast-paced environment.

The position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with training on the job. A High School diploma or GED and 1+ years of manufacturing experience are expected, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies.
• Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints.
• Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction.
• Operate power pneumatic and hand tools; use measuring devices.
