Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Assembler I for the first shift at our Southern Pines, NC site. The role focuses on assembling parts, following blueprints, and maintaining quality standards on a hands-on shop floor.

You will read drawings, use standard work instructions, and operate basic equipment while adhering to safety rules and 5S practices. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read print drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials.
• Assemble parts according to standard work / job breakdown sheets, BOM, and work orders.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners per torque specs.
• Operate pneumatic and manual presses to assist assembly operations.
• Test product to meet specifications using manual/automatic test equipment.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety rules on the shop floor.
• Cross-train across multiple product lines.
