Job summary

Hillman is seeking an Area Manager (1st Shift) for our Cincinnati distribution center. You will drive daily operations, analyze data, manage payroll and HR functions, and provide leadership to production teams to achieve targets and maintain safety standards.

The role requires directing staff, conducting performance reviews, coordinating continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring accuracy in inventory and processes within a high-volume, automated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-3 years leadership experience.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement Projects preferred.
• Experience managing 40+ direct reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily direction to Leads to achieve daily operational goals and analyzes data for staffing.
• Conducts interviews, ensures training, performance reviews and development plans for staff.
• Manages payroll and attendance in Dayforce while supporting continuous improvement.
• Enforces safety policies and quality checks to meet standards.
