Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an Area Manager (1st Shift) to drive all functions in the warehouse area. The role involves data analysis, payroll and HR task handling, performance management, and upholding safety and production standards.

Responsibilities include directing Leads to meet daily goals, staffing and staff development, payroll/attendance management, and enforcing safety and quality controls. Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years leadership experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 2–3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement projects preferred.
• Experience managing 40+ direct reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to Leads to achieve daily goals; analyze data to optimize staffing.
• Conduct interviews, orient and train staff, perform performance reviews, and develop personnel.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and manage payroll/attendance in Dayforce.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure quality standards are met.
