Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking non-certified teachers to join our Texas classrooms. Starting salary is $55,000 with a $1,000 K-2 Hiring Incentive.

You will deliver engaging lessons in core subjects, manage classrooms, and support our district’s growth and achievement goals. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate or equivalent training for the subject and level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and accommodate diverse learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials per guidelines and learning styles.
• Assess student learning styles and adapt activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and methods.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Assess student achievement and sponsor extracurricular activities as needed.
• Maintain a conducive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Communicate professionally with parents and community members.
• Participate in staff development and comply with regulations.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
