Job summary

Landscapes Management Company LLC in Leesburg, FL, is seeking a high-energy 1st Assistant Golf Professional to elevate golf operations year-round. You will work with the Head Golf Professional/General Manager to deliver the best experience for members and guests.

You will oversee pro shop operations, supervise staff, manage scheduling and payroll, and contribute to financial records, lessons, and tournaments while upholding excellent customer service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pro shop organization, staff, facilities and equipment management.
• Understanding of golf rules, equipment, and tournament organization.
• Knowledge of practice facility operation and management.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to provide high level of customer service with attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote and model the values of Landscapes Golf Management (LGM).
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise cart attendants, players’ assistants and golf shop personnel; Direct daily pro shop operations.
• Assist Head Golf Professional in maintaining financial records and monthly revenue reports.
• Open/close pro shop per SOP, including deposits handling and register setup/closing.
• Assist with payroll data submission for employees on time.
• Monitor cash flow and reconcile sales with receipts per procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of green fees and cart rentals.
• Control and manage play to ensure proper pace and professional environment.
• Plan and conduct golf lessons and clinics for individuals and groups.
• Handle member and guest requests, complaints, and inquiries professionally.
• Develop programs to promote golf and course use.
