AdvisaCare is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care to clients in the Michigan area. You will work one-on-one with clients, delivering hands-on care, companionship, and basic health support in a calm, unrushed setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Work well in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks.
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors' appointments or hospitals.
• Administer simple prescribed medications.
• Assist clients with personal care activities and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain care records and document services provided.
• Educate clients and families on diet and exercise.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
