Job summary

AdvisaCare in Michigan is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care, assist with daily living, and help clients stay independent in familiar surroundings.

You will work shift-based schedules with flexible options, receive weekly pay, benefits for eligible staff, and training to support quality, person-centered care in patients' homes across the Brighton area.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required to travel to client homes.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.
• Ability to work well in teams and independently.
• Must be able to travel within the service area.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks as needed.
• Accompany patients to doctors' appointments or to hospital.
• Administer simple prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with clients' personal care activities.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain patient care records and document services provided.
• Assist patients with mobility and therapeutic exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities
