Job summary

Care With Heart (Not a Stopwatch) is seeking Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care for a single client, promoting safety, dignity and connection. You will work closely with a client in their residence, offering personalized support and companionship.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, timely documentation, and cooperation with family and healthcare providers. Prior experience is welcome but not always required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks.
• Accompany patients to doctors’ office or hospital.
• Administer simple prescribed medications.
• Assist with clients personal care activities.
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition.
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services.
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
