Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking assemblers for a client in Evansville, WI. This is an evaluation-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer that offers clear advancement paths.

Primary duties include assembling parts, operating drills and rivet tools, surface prep, and reading blueprints. Shifts available are 1st and 2nd, with pay rates of $18/hour and $20/hour respectively.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Stand up to 10 hours a day
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math, reading tape measures, interpreting blueprints, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts by positioning, aligning, and fastening with bolts, screws, rivets and huck guns
• Build sub-assemblies like brake hoses, axles, wiring harnesses, doors, and walls
• Operate drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, grinders, routers, and tape measures
• Prepare surfaces and seal joints; apply caulk to meet quality standards
• Drill through aluminum, steel, and wood according to blueprints and layouts

We have immediate openings for assemblers for our our client, a manufacturer, at their location in Evansville (just 25 minutes from Madison!)

These are evaluation hire openings with a reputable employer that is experiencing growth and offers great advancement opportunities!

Responsibilities

• Assembly Tasks: Position, align, and fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and huck guns. Build sub-assemblies like brake hoses, axles, wiring harnesses, doors, and walls.
• Tool Operation: Use drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, grinders, routers, and tape measures.
• Surface Prep & Sealing: Clean metal components with approved solvents and apply caulk to seams and joints to meet quality standards.
• Material Preparation: Drill through aluminum, steel, and wood according to blueprints and layout measurements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:1 year manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Skills: Basic math, reading tape measures, interpreting blueprints, and working in a team environment.

Schedule:

1st shift: Mon-Thurs, 5:30am-4pm

2nd shift: Mon-Thurs, 4-30pm-3am

Pay:

1st shift - $18/hour

2nd shift - $20/hour
