Job summary

BlockReel in Los Angeles seeks a professional 1st AC for an independent corporate shoot in early December 2026, for 3–4 days. Rate is $2,000–$3,000 per week depending on experience and kit, for a tech client aiming for a polished, slightly cinematic style.

Responsibilities: precise focus pulling, managing camera accessories, assisting the DP with lens changes and camera setup, and keeping the camera department efficient.

Qualifications

• 1st AC with proven focus pulling experience.
• Proficient with professional cinema cameras (ARRI/RED).
• Experience with lens changes and camera setup.
• Own and operate a follow focus system (wireless preferred).

Responsibilities

• Precise focus pulling and managing camera accessories.
• Assist DP with camera setup and lens changes.
• Maintain camera department efficiency on set.
