Job description

Seeking a skilled 1st Assistant Camera for an independent music video project shooting in Los Angeles. This role is for a 2-day shoot within the second half of October 2026, paid at $250/day flat. We're producing a high-energy, visually dynamic video for an indie pop artist, featuring vibrant lighting and kinetic camera movement. It's a fun concept with a focus on creative visuals. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining critical focus and assisting the DP with lens changes, camera prep, and general camera department organization. We expect you to bring your own essential tools (tape measure, marking pens, lens cleaning kit, etc.) and have experience with professional cinema cameras, specifically RED or Arri systems. A solid reel showcasing your focus pulling skills is a must. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Lunch and water will be provided on set.
