Job summary

Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a highly motivated General Laborer for our Welding department. This full-time role supports daily operations in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment and helps ensure our customers’ needs are met.

The General Labor’s responsibilities include assisting with welding tasks, following supervisor instructions, and maintaining a clean work area. Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand measuring devices, i.e. a tape measure.
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The General Labor’s role can vary with each assigned task. They will use various tools and techniques to support their assigned department. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand measuring devices, i.e. a tape measure
• Must be able to operate a grinder.
• Experience with high power tools (i.e. impacts, wrenches, etc.)
• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
• Demonstrated punctual and dependent performance.

This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
