Job summary

BAMSI, founded in Brockton, MA, is seeking an LPN to join our Holliston team. This position supports adults with complex medical needs in community-based group homes, providing direct care and medication oversight.

You will work a 40-hour schedule (Mon-Fri, 8a-4p) and participate in trainings and benefits offerings. LPN MA licensure and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in MA.
• Driver's license and reliable car.
• Experience supporting mental health needs.
• Clear communication, basic computer use, teamwork.
• Fluent in English; multilingual a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Medical & Medication Oversight: manage care and medications, train staff on safe practices per MAP.
• Crisis Intervention: respond to emergencies and de-escalate crises.
• Staff Training: train staff on health/safety rules and document incidents.
• Compliance: keep programs up to date with medical laws and inspections.

What You’ll Do:

As aNurse,you’ll become an essential part of our community-based group homes for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and/or mental illness. Our homes house 3-8 individuals each providing an opportunity to build relationships with those that you care for and their families.

• Medical & Medication Oversight - Manage medical care and medications for persons served, including training staff on safe medication practices in compliance with DPH Medication Administration Program (MAP).
• Crisis Intervention - Respond to emergencies and de-escalate crises with persons served.
• Staff Training - Train staff on health/safety rules and document incidents as required.
• Compliance - Keep programs up to date with medical and medication laws, including paperwork and inspections.

What You Bring:

• Required:Active LPN license in MA, driver’s license, and reliable car.
• Preferred: Active RN license in MA, driver's license, and reliable car.
• Experience:Supporting mental health needs (personal or professional).
• Skills:Clear communication, basic computer use, and teamwork.
• Language:Must be fluent in English, Multilingual a bonus!
