Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking hardworking, motivated people to join our Midwest-based team. Established in 1953, Per Mar Security is the largest, family-owned, full-service security company in the region, offering access control, patrols, alarm monitoring and related services.

This part-time gate/access role entails checking orders, monitoring the premises, and responding to incidents. Shifts include Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays totaling about 29 hours weekly, with daily pay

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in security or access control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers entering the facility.
• Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers depart.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles entering the premises and note items present.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or policy violations.
• Twice per shift, patrol the yard and report any suspicious activity.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.

Shift Available:

Part Time

Sunday - 1400-2030

Monday - 1300-2130

Friday - 0600-1300

Saturday- 0600-1300

TOTAL= 29.00hrs per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers coming in and out of the back lot of the facility
• Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility
• Thoroughly examine vehicles as they enter the premises and make note of existing items within vehicles
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Twice per shift, walk the yard and report any suspicious activities or criminal acts
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
