Sigma Defense Systems LLC in Maryland’s Joint Base Andrews area seeks an experienced Operations SME to join our team. The role supports joint training, test, and evaluation activities, providing military aviation expertise to shape realistic scenarios and CONOPS.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree required with on-site responsibilities and competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Operations SME and Joint Forces Planner to support training, test, and evaluation activities.
• Develop and integrate operational scenarios, mission profiles, CONOPS, and training objectives for joint and contested environments.
• Coordinate manned/unmanned aviation, ISR, C2, fires, and multi-domain capabilities into test events and exercises.
• Support test planning, mission execution, data collection, and operational assessment to evaluate system capabilities and mission effectiveness.
• Identify capability gaps, operational risks, and translate results into actionable recommendations for tactics, training, and future test requirements.

Requirements

Personnel Clearance Level

Salary Range

$107,000 - $142,000 annually.
