Job summary

Sigma Defense seeks an Operations SME to join our team at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The role requires supporting joint training, test, and evaluation with aviation expertise, coordinating multi-domain assets, and shaping CONOPS for realistic scenarios.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with 10–12 years of experience and an active Secret clearance (sponsorship possible). Bachelor’s degree is required. Excellent benefits and competitive salary offered.

• Active Secret security clearance or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Operations SME and Joint Forces Planner, providing military aviation expertise to support joint training, test, and evaluation activities.
• Develop and integrate operationally realistic scenarios, mission profiles, CONOPS, and training objectives representative of joint and contested environments.
• Coordinate manned/unmanned aviation, ISR, C2, fires, and multi-domain capabilities into test events and exercises.
• Support test planning, mission execution, data collection, and operational assessment to evaluate system capabilities and mission effectiveness.
• Identify capability gaps, operational risks, and lessons learned, translating results into actionable recommendations for tactics, training, and future test requirements.
