Pentair is hiring for a 1st shift Material Handler in Sanford, NC. You will stage material for production lines, interpret BOMs, and ensure accurate SAP reporting while maintaining safety and efficiency on the factory floor.

The role requires forklift experience/license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good communication skills. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits apply.

• Understand the BOMs for all product lines in the area.
• Understand the department operating procedures.
• Provide feedback to line leader.
• Perform material handling functions as assigned.
• Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.
• Computer literate, SAP/transaction literate (scrap/non-conformity/accurately report all transactions) production reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience/license required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that material is staged for the lines.
• Have the ability to understand the BOM's for all product lines in the area.

• Perform material handling functions as assigned.
• Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and quick changeovers.

Work Environment

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pays $18.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift Hours

1st 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plus OT and Weekends.
