Job summary

Pentair Management Company in Sanford, NC is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler. Responsibilities include staging materials for production, performing material handling tasks, and ensuring accurate SAP-based inventory transactions, including scrap reporting. Forklift operation is required.

The role supports multiple production lines, requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to all safety and department procedures. 2nd shift hours are 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift and staging materials for production lines.
• Understand BOMs for all product lines in the area.
• Follow department procedures and provide feedback to line leader.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials for production lines and ensure accurate inventory transactions using SAP.
• Count materials accurately and report non-conformities.
• Follow all Pentair policies and procedures and safely operate equipment.

We have an opportunity for a 1618 Market Material Handler 2nd to join our Sanford NC team. You will be responsible for staging materials to support production lines, performing material handling functions, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions using SAP, including scrap and production reporting.

You will:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed

• Ensure that material is staged for the lines.


• Have the ability to understand the BOM's for all product lines in the area.


• Understand the department operating procedures.


• Provide feedback to line leader.


• Perform material handling functions as assigned.


• Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.

• Computer literate, SAP/transaction literate (scrap/non-conformity/accurately report all transactions) production reporting


• Ability to accurately count.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Basic leadership skills.


• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.


• Ability to perform multiple tasks and quick changeovers.


• Forklift experience/license required

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pays $18.00 per hour, plus 8% of shift premium. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift Hours

2nd 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Plus OT and Weekends when needed.
