Job summary

Bost-Inc. in Fort Smith, AR is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with daily living activities at home, including meals, medication, and personal care.

DSPs will also accompany clients on community outings or provide transportation, and support therapeutic plans with clinical staff to improve quality of life. Work shifts are Saturday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay rate of $13.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Pass a background check, reference check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home assistance with activities of daily living. This includes personal care and support for daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and planning to support nutrition and independence.
• Administer medications per plan and monitor for safety and effectiveness.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance quality of life.

DSPs also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSP's support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life.

Workdays/Hours: Saturday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $13.00/hr
