Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Financial Design Consultant to design and implement invoicing solutions, align business requirements with technical specs, and collaborate across internal teams to ensure accurate AR processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on billing, documentation, and cross-functional communication, with compensation based on experience and location. The position supports Kelly’s Financial Shared Services and client environments.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on billing or accounts receivable (AR) experience.
• Technical and functional working knowledge of billing systems and AR back-office platforms.
• Proven experience creating step-by-step technical work instructions and operational documentation.
• Proven experience auditing and reconciling financial discrepancies.
• Handling tax implications and compliance issues.
• Designing and implementing standard invoicing solutions.
• Understanding invoice element mapping in Mainframe.
• Direct experience configuring or maintaining PeopleSoft or Workday preferred
• Experience in customer implementation workflows preferred
• Staffing-industry back-office operational experience preferred
• Experience with VMS platforms or enterprise ATS/CRM platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the design, successful testing/implementation of the invoicing solution within the client’s organization and Kelly’s from a financial systems and accounting perspective.
• Evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following documents as needed: Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Use Cases and Interface designs.
• Serving as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers), the software development team and Kelly’s Financial Shared Services team.
• Developing requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.

Kelly's Financial Design Consultant is accountable for:

The annual base pay for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.

$73,875.00 – $98,500.00
