Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support infants and toddlers birth to three with developmental delays in natural learning environments. The role emphasizes hands-on OT services and family guidance within home or childcare settings.

You will collaborate with families and service coordinators to promote progress, independence, and positive outcomes for children and their caregivers, while concentrating on developmental milestones and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and Texas OT licensure required.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in pediatrics or related training is preferred.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services in the natural learning environment (home or childcare).
• Deliver OT services and service coordination/case management.
• Coach parents to learn skills and techniques to support their children.
• Support families to enhance parent-child relationships and promote independence.

Direct Care - Speech Therapist/Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist for Early Childhood Intervention, you will support families with infants and toddlers birth up to three years old with developmental delays and disabilities, specializing in fine and gross motor, adaptive, sensory, vision,feedingand cognitive delays. You will provide direct services in the natural learning environment (home or childcare settings) that includeOccupationalTherapy and service coordination/case management. Child & Family Services believes that parenting isa very importantrole and that every parent/caregiver can be successful. As an Occupational Therapist for ECI, you will coach parents to learn new skills and techniques to help their children succeed. You willimpactchildren, families, and the community by supporting the parent-child relationship so that positive outcomesoccur,and childrenwill increasetheir functional independence.

Defined Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapyAND current Texas licensure in Occupational Therapy.A master'sdegree in occupational therapyis preferred but notrequired.

Experiencein pediatrics, training, or certification in breast feeding/lactation, NDT, infant massage, or sensory integration preferred. Spanish-speaking a plus.

Carry and lifting requirements 15-25 pounds.
