Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pinehurst, NC. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care and monitor life-support equipment in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements: one year ICU experience, NC RN license, and current BLS and ACLS. CCRN or additional certifications are preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and travel support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in NC.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care techniques.
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Document assessments and interventions timely for continuity of care.
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU treatments and recovery.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope.
