Job summary

Intoxalock, part of the Mindr family, is hiring a 12V installation technician for on-site work in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on installing and maintaining ignition interlock devices, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a schedule of 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday.

You will calibrate, remove, and troubleshoot devices while training customers on activation procedures. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on 12-volt experience, ability to read schematics, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on 12-volt experience with schematics and troubleshooting installations.
• Installation and servicing stereo, alarm, remote start or similar systems are preferred.
• High quality installation experience with intermediate knowledge of automotive wiring.
• Experience with problem solving and resolving conflict.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, repair and remove ignition interlock devices per state rules.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Facilitate on-site training on activation and operation of the device.
• Install Interlock devices into customer vehicles and troubleshoot issues.
• Report any suspicion of tampering and follow all procedures.
