Job summary

U.S. Upfitters in District Heights, MD is seeking a 12V Electrical Installer to join our team. The role focuses on installing 12V electrical components in commercial vehicle upfits, reading work orders, and assembling products before installation.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of 12V wiring experience, works well with tooling and follows safety standards. A background check will be conducted; ASE certification is a plus and welding experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus.
• One year of 12V electrical automotive wiring experience required.
• ASE Certification (or in-process) preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong background in electrical trouble shooting preferred.
• Must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install strobe lights, power inverters, dome lights and other products.
• Read work orders and assemble products prior to installation.
• Track, order and maintain electrical parts and equipment.
• Ensure installations meet quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work bay.
• Adhere to safety and quality control standards; perform other duties as assigned.
