Job summary

U.S. Upfitters in Monee, IL is seeking a 12V Electrical Installer to join our team. You will install 12V electrical components on commercial vehicle upfits and prepare parts for installation.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of 12V wiring experience, a High School Diploma, and the ability to read diagrams; welding experience is a plus. We offer safety training and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus
• One (1) year of 12V electrical automotive wiring experience required
• Strong background in electrical trouble shooting preferred
• Welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Installation of strobe lights, power inverters, dome lights and other auxiliary aftermarket products
• Read individual work order and assemble all product prior to install
• Track, order and maintain all supplemental electrical parts and equipment
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work bay
• Adhere to strict safety and quality control production standards
• Complete other duties as assigned.
