Job summary

Rosenbauer South Dakota Llc seeks a 12V Electrician I to route wires for fire apparatus equipment according to diagrams and blueprints. You will install 12V accessories, fabricate boxes and mounts, and collaborate with fabricators to ensure a complete installation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of DC electrical equipment, and about 6 months of related experience. Reading blueprints and safety manuals, plus strong mechanical/technical aptitude, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of DC electrical equipment required.
• 6 months or related experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Able to read and work from blueprints/spec book.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Route 12V electrical wires to equipment per diagrams.
• Connect lights, reels and other accessories to electrical boxes.
• Fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment per blueprint.
• Coordinate with fabricators to complete installation.
• Fabricates wire harnesses to complete installation as needed.
• Use basic hand tools, shear, and brake press as needed.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
