Rosenbauer America is seeking a skilled 110V Electrician to install electrical components on our fire apparatus. You will design circuits, run wires, and connect equipment to breaker panels to ensure reliable, safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of DC and AC electrical equipment; 6 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Installs breakers, generators, light towers, all SO cord/conduit lines, electrical cord reels, and 110v outlets.
• Designs electrical circuits by determining the amount of electrical current draw from the equipment to be installed.
• Runs wires to fire apparatus equipment and perform cable management as needed.
• Terminates wires as needed to connect equipment to breaker box.
• Tests equipment and diagnose electrical problems.
• Utilizes basic hand tools, shear, and brake press as needed to complete objectives.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor to meet the needs of the department.
