Job summary

Rosenbauer America is seeking an AC & DC Electrician to install electrical components on ARFF fire apparatus. You will read truck specs, route 100V/24V wiring, test equipment, and prepare for light installations by drilling and fabrication.

The role requires reading blueprints/spec books, low-voltage experience, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed, with overtime possible in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical and technical ability.
• Low voltage electrical experience required; 110V experience preferred.
• Reading blueprints/spec books is essential.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Able to perform basic math and simple computer tasks related to build/troubleshooting.
• Able to identify quality issues and adapt in production.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision in a team.

Responsibilities

• Installs electrical components onto ARFF fire apparatus and manages cables.
• Routes 100V and 24V wires to connect electrical components.
• Tests equipment and diagnoses electrical problems.
• Prepares for light installation by drilling holes and fabricating.
• Reads truck specification books to complete the build.
• Performs other duties as required by management.
