Job summary

United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) is offering a Sales internship in Pontiac, MI. The program includes hands-on experience with the Sales Team, AE responsibilities, Sales Training, and Success Track activities to develop client relationships and knowledge of mortgage products.

Interns will shadow professionals, create training materials, and participate in ongoing training using Salesforce, EASE, and PowerPoint. The program runs May 17 to August 6, 40 hours per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2027 or 2028 (current junior/senior).
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 17–August 6.
• Openness to learning, being coached, and adaptability in a changing industry.
• Strong work ethic, team orientation, and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and clients.
• Learn to use Easiest Application System Ever (EASE), programs, products, guidelines, and processes.
• Work with Account Executives to share up-to-date product information and industry updates.
• Support the Sales Team with sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Assist in tracking sales metrics, analyzing performance data, and generating reports.
• Conduct market research and provide insights to the Sales Team.
• Communicate features and benefits of UWM’s products to clients.
• Shadow experienced professionals to observe effective sales strategies.
