Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Acute unit on a PRN basis. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform assessments, and respond to medical emergencies.

The role requires RN licensure in TN, CPR and BLS, and at least 2 years of recent RN experience. You will document care, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• RN state licensure to work in TN required.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Additional license/certification may be required by area.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regime and unit standards.
• Initiates assessment based on diagnosis and admission framework.
• Collects information from patient, family, labs, and reports.
• Determines nursing diagnoses and care priorities including discharge planning.
• Documents assessments and clinical judgments.
• Performs rounds and ongoing assessments per policy.
• Administers medications and monitors pain control as ordered.
• Collaborates with team to ensure patient safety and infection control.
