Job summary

Newell Brands offers an Industrial Design internship (CAMP) in Atlanta, GA, May 17 – August 6, 2027. The 12-week paid program provides a dedicated manager and mentor, challenging projects, and opportunities to interact with leadership across our brand portfolio.

Interns work on real design problems, gaining hands-on exposure to trusted brands. As an Industrial Design intern, you will apply consumer insights, collaborate across teams, and contribute to new product concepts while developing

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.
• 3.0 GPA or better.
• Demonstrate ability to work in team environments.
• Ability to present in English.
• Capabilities in Industrial Design Fundamentals including: 2D & 3D modelling & visualization, aesthetic sensibility, Industrial Design research, prototyping, feasibility awareness, and principles of human factors.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once
• Desire to make a strong contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing their readiness for a full-time career
• Available to work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks; duration of internship (May 17- August 6, 2027)

Responsibilities

• Application of consumer insights into innovative design solutions
• Execute against integration of technology and innovation platforms leveraging new and existing Visual Design Language
• Participate in programs that require understanding consumer needs and applying those understandings to product designs that solve for pain points and deliver to their needs.
• Support conceptualization and development of new products
• Performs other duties as needed
