Job summary

UW-La Crosse seeks a 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor in Radiation Therapy to teach and mentor students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The role emphasizes maintaining currency in the field, delivering high-quality instruction, and contributing to student success.

The position is non-tenure track, renewable, and begins 1/7/2027. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with priority given to early applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist.
• Master’s Degree to be earned within 4 years of employment.
• Excellent interpersonal/written communication skills.
• Desire to be a lifelong learner through professional development and networking.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses as assigned.
• Advise students and maintain currency in the content area.
• Prepare for and hold classes; evaluate student work and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain accurate records and office hours; participate in service duties as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing scholarship, including course development and outcome assessment.
• Collaborate with department chair and dean on program goals.
