Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, WI, invites you to join its IT Audit Internship to gain hands-on experience in information systems auditing, security, and data integrity under the Chief Internal Auditor. You must be enrolled at a university pursuing an IS/Data Science degree, bondable, and able to commit to 12 months, working onsite at the Corporate Center throughout the school year and breaks.

Schedule ranges from 14–17 hours/week during the school year to 30–40 hours/week in summer, May

Qualifications

Enrolled at a university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics or related field.
Must be bondable upon hire.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Conducting audits focused on information systems, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Evaluating internal controls and prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Assisting in preparing for external audits and maintaining organized audit documentation.
Analyzing continuous monitoring reports and following up on previous audit recommendations.
Supporting departmental administrative functions and contributing to innovation and process improvements.
