Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Unencumbered RN or APRN licensure in Louisiana or eligible.
• At least three years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least three years of nurse educator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach all nursing classes and promote academic excellence.
• Provide instruction in areas of expertise and use diverse teaching strategies.
• Advise and mentor nursing students.
• Maintain office hours and professional attendance.
• Develop, evaluate, and revise curriculum and policies.
• Supervise and evaluate student learning experiences and outcomes.
• Participate in College of Nursing/University functions and committees.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with laws and policies.
